Okay you didn't ask but I'm gonna say this anyway. You are really beautiful so get that hair out of your face. Your face is too beautiful to cover up. AND let's get smaller glasses so we can see your eyes. You have no reason to hide---you are fine girl!!!haha You are my inspiration. Jane

Oh Jane--- you are my new best friend... I am trying to let my hair grow back out... I know its awfully bushy!! I agree with ya about the glasses.. Think I am gonna try contacts again. All my friends say the glasses have to go! Thank you!

Ok girl, your gonna have to tell me who everyone is. Maybe I can come to a luncheon or support group down there before too awful long. I have loved talking to everyone on here so much it is about time I meet them. The pics were great I am a picture freak so I always enjoy looking at them. Becky

Thank you Kimberly. Its so nice to hear that. I am glad I could help. Sometimes I cant see how far I have come until I see those bad pictures. Normally I wouldnt post those anywhere, esp on the internet but thats all in the past. I am moving on up --to the thinner side... Hopefully anyway... As far as your BMI only being 39.7--seems like they would round it up to 40. My sister is trying to get this surgery too so it feels like I am living the process again with her. Her weight is fluctuating alot lately. I think its due to stress.. It will say 240 on my scales and like 231 on hers. She has been MO for a long time like me and it is freaking her out too that she wont qualify. She is short like 5'3 but 9 pounds can knock her out of the qualifiying range.... I know how you are feeling. I told her to eat peanut butter and wear heavy shoes to the doctor. Isnt that bad?? But, I know she has tried everything else and this is her only hope! It will work out for you... the waiting is the killer. I battled my insurance and wasnt approved until my 2nd appeal. It was an awful journey as far as that was concerned. But.. I am so glad I kept with it. This surgery is worth the fight. Let me know if I can do anything to help. I will do whatever I can...
