LET'S BOMBARD 'EM WITH CARDS & LOVE!

Thanks to Kevin, Donna Looser's dh, we found BOTH the Donnas. Seems they are both on 5th floor, which is rehabilitation floor and the patient list is separate from the "hospital" patients. I am going to send them a bouquet of flowers and send them cards and maybe some other little goodies. I know they are having a hard time. I hate this for them and their families. I wish there was more we could do.

Both had their surgeries at CMMC with Dr. Cleveland. Both have had complications. Donna Looser aka Wooten has been in the hospital for 6 weeks and will probably be there 6 more weeks. She currently has a staph infection and is very depressed and generally is having a hard time. When they did her surgery, they removed some old scar tissue from another surgery and it caused a hole, which meant a leak and things went bad to worse, but seem to be improving except for the staph. Donna Terrell had surgery on 11/20/2004 and had a leak. She was doing great the afternoon of her surgery and then WHAM, she was back in surgery and in ICU for the longest. Things were really rough there for a while, but has improved immensely. Thanks for sending them some cards. Smooch Arlies

Thanks for letting us know the addresses. I will send both a card also. That sure is scary. But we have to keep in mind, different people have different results, and these things do happen. We just have to have faith and pray pray pray that it does not happen to me. I have been so totally motivated by all of the wonderful people on this site. I have learned a lot and am ready to go through my own surgery and start my life all over again!! Love you all! Rhonda
