WE NEED "YOU" FOR SUPPORT!

I stole this tidbit from another board cause I thought we needed to be reminded of this over here. I thought it made for a very very insiteful read. Denise I have been sitting here thinking about some of the so called spport people in my life. So many people promise they will be there to spport you but somehow you never hear from them. People join spport boards such as this, but never reach out to spport anyone. I noticed something different when I looked at the word SPPORT tonight. It looks funny doesnt' it. Well you see, you can see the word in two different ways. You can see it as SPPORT, or it can be SUPPORT. It all depends if U are involved in the support. You see, support is not support without "U"!! SUPPORT becomes something totally different without "U" Are "U" in SUPPORT or are you just a SSPORT?? WE all need to be there for one another. We all need to be there for ourselves. This board is about far more than the handful of us who post everyday. It is about U and U and U and U. Like I said without U we do not have SUPPORT. So, to those members out there who came in search of SUPPORT, you will only have SUPPORT if U are in it!! So to all you U's out there, please come out and be in SUPPORT. After all, it is nothing without U!!!

Amen Deniese!! That just puts it plain and simple, I am glad you shared that with us! And I agree with it totally! I try to do my share of supporting as much as possible, especially for the people on this board, and the fact that I live so close to the hospitals that most of us use (ex. CMMC & UMC, and St. Dominics, tho I havent heard of anyone using St. Dominics) I am only 15 to 20 min from them all so I try to do as much as I can for the families even if its just being there for them. Now mind you they may have to put up with my rotten 2 year old from time to time lol. I have even been know to drive to the coast for some surgeries (hint hint Queenie, me and Sherry Penn went to the Queen's surgery on the coast at Kesler AFB) and I also went and was with Mrs. Jo Walker and her DH Randall on her special day, I just hope that all of you know the love and kindness that I have in my heart for each and every one of you, you are my family and I would move a mountain for each of you if I could.
