So Arlies is headed home ...
Hey Andie, It was great meeting you the other day. I am so happy that I found this website, it is making my "pre-op" days much easier. Not to mention I have learned so much since I joined this forum. You guys are great! I wish I could give you all news on Arlies, but I am out of town. She should have been released yesterday and should be on her way home today. She was excited and could not wait to read the board. I did print out her cards and take them to her Thursday. She was very "moved".. She is such a great lady. If you have not personally had the chance to meet her, you should try, she is by all means the "QUEEN".
Hope to meet each of you soon.
Rhonda
Hey Rhonda
I 'm glad as well that we finally got to meet. It was tough trying to get time away from work but I jumped on it when I could. I'm always available for you guys per this board, it may be a few hours before I see it and send an answer, but I gladly be here for any advice. I 've had a few people who were post ops around me who could help me out, it sure helped. How was the slumber party? Did you sleep okay? Didn't have any uhmm..dreams, did you? he he
Arlies is such a sweet lady, isn't she? She truly deserves happiness, I wi**** for her with all my heart.
Any news yet on your surgery date? Let me know once you find out, I'll definitely come see you !! I know you're antsy and you can't wait. Don't worry, before you know it, it'll be here! Don't be too hard on Julian, just keep in mind, once you're back down to 110 lbs, YOU'll be the one keeping HIM on his toes
Take care !!
