FORGOT TO MENTION THE ANSWER ON THE REESES IS ABSOLUTELY NO. THEY ARE BAD ENOUGH FOR ME, I WOULDN'T DO THAT TO THE PRECIOUS FRIENDS I LOVE AND CARE ABOUT IN OLE MISS. But it sure was good. Carolyn

Hey Carolyn I forgot to put the fluids in. Sorry, I drank 40 oz of water. I know I need more I just have a really hard time getting in it. I don't drink anything else but my protein shake. Any suggestions. I like all the help I can get. I really think doing this is helping me alot because before I didn't keep up with the calories, carbs or nothing just ate what the dr said I could and the amount he said. Thanks Becky

Hi Becky, I am still pre-op, but I have heard everyone mention the crystal light. Have you tried that? Also, diet unsweetened iced tea with splenda. You are doing great with your calories/carbs/proteins. Keep up the good work! Rhonda

Rhonda's ideas are great... The way to get it in is to get a sports bottle and fill it up with whatever you are going to drink and keep it with you at all times. Sip on it when you are in the car, at work, at home, wherever. Getting in your fluids is essential.... You can get kidney stones if you are not properly hydrated for long periods of times, plus it slows down your weight loss and you do not feel as well because the toxins that are being released from your body with the contents of the fat cells cannot wash out of your system as easily. It is as important to get in your 64 oz of water as it is to take your vitamins while you are in the phase of losing weight. I have several 32 oz sports bottles and I have them in the refrigerator with water, crystal light, tea, diluted juices and that way I can grab something that is cold without having to stop and prepare something to drink every time I need to take something to drink. Then when my bottle gets warm, I just get a cup of ice and drink out of the cup so my drink is cold because I like my drinks cold. Hope this helps! Blessings, Carolyn
