COME ON EATING PROGRAM SOLDIERS.... LET'S GET WITH IT AND GET POSTING OUR DAILY FOOD RATIONS Remember all of you who jumped on this bandwagon. Arlies is getting ready for surgery so I'm taking over the drill seargent position until she is back and ready to assume the position again... Food/ Cal/Fat/Carbs/Protein B: Nectar protein powder drink 90 0 0 23 S: Swiss Miss SF Hot Chocolate 120 2 22 2 Coffee 9 0 2 0 L: Milk, Lowfat, 1% milkfat 110 3 13 8 Revival Protein Powder 130 2 4 20 S: Carrots, baby, raw 6 0 1 0 Salad dressing, Light Ranch Dressing 77 7 3 0 Nectar protein powder 90 0 0 23 D: Tomato soup, 52 2 9 2 Celery, raw 19 0 4 1 Salad dressing, Light Ranch Dressing, 77 7 3 0 Totals 779 21 62 79 Let's try to keep this up because I see postings that show that we all are really learning a lot about foods and our eating habits while we are doing this. I know it can seem like a hassle, but this will help us from falling back into our old habits of eating when the honeymoon is over and we can eat more and it will be possible to gain more weight. It will also help preops look at eating patterns. For those of you that don't know, I am a revision patient. I had a VGB 20 years ago. I lost 200 lbs and then regained 160 lbs back. I did not have ANYTHING like OH for support, very little pre or post op education or support. I am so grateful to be getting a second chance and I want to take every opportunity to avoid what happened to me before. That is why I think this will be a good tool for us no matter what stage of our journey we are on. I have just stepped down from my soap box. I hope you all have a good day.. Blessings, Carolyn

My doc allows us to count decaf tea, crystal light, milk, diluted juices, sugar free juices toward water intake. Personally, it took me a long time to get to where I drank a lot of water. I used to have to make myself drink it. Now I crave it. One way I have heard people say that they make sure they get in their water is to get a 32 oz container and keep it with them, sip on it all morning, refill it at noon and sip it all afternoon/evening. Hope this helps. Blessings, Carolyn

Queen Arlies reporting for duty, ma'am!! I did excellent yesterday am!!! But last night I fell off the band wagon! About mid-morning I ate 1 1/2 string cheeses, with a total of 4 oz of turkey breast and a bunch of lettuce wrapped around it. I made two "rollups". Then for supper (last meal) we picked up chinese. I ate 1/2 serving of rice, 1/3 of my Pepper steak with onions, 1 shrimp roll, 1 crab stick, 2 ribs, 4 crab ragoons, 2 cats, 3 dogs, 4 horses and 3 pigs!!! And some sweet and sour sauce! Bad girl!!! Bad Girl!!! Am dropping and giving you 50 (snores) as we speak!! I will make up for it on Sunday and Monday as I will be on clear liquids for my pre-op stuff. Smooch Arlies

I'ts ok Mrs. Queenie!! We understand, you needed to have your favorite meal before your surgery! Because we know that it's not that you won't ever be able to have it again, (even tho you may not ever want it again) but that it will be a long time before you can have a taste of it again. So your FORGIVEN!!! Love ya!! See ya Tuesday!! God Bless!! Angie Bea
