I don't think I done too bad. Just wish I could get those carbs down and the protein up. Here is a list of what I can eat if anyone has suggestions feel free, eggs,cheese,cottage cheese (don't like),dried beans or peas,potatoes,peanut butter,crackers,toast,seafood,cereal,cream soups,and liquids.

I'm getting close to my surgery date and I weighed the other day and I had not lost ANY weight. As you can see... I'm getting really serious...
I'm going to be doing mainly a protein drink diet until surgery- starting today. I'll keep you closely advised. Also... I have been drinking water like I am a fish...

It was a VERY hungry day for me. Look at those carbs!!! Wow! I gotta figure something out on that! My printout from Keesler says try to stay under 40 grams of carbs per day. I know that after surgery, I will be eating less and that will help considerably. And I think my carbs are good ones, but I dunno. (Dex, where are you???)
I ate:
B: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1 medium apple chopped up on it and cinnamon & equal on top
S: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1 small banana chopped up on it and a good sprinkle of the dry sugar free strawberry jellow mixed in. YUM!!!
L: two slices of turkey breast and lettuce wrapped around a string cheese
S: A homemade taco salad made with LOTS of lettuce, ground turkey, and 2 small corn tortillas instead of chips BUT with REAL ranch dressing....(and this meal was better than ex-lax!!!)
At least I am eating healthier, and doing okay for a person on a diet - calorie wise. It's them durn carbs, tho.....And I want a sandwich with REAL whole wheat bread (You know those short, fat loaves of wheat bread with the oatmeal flakes on top!) and a ton of mayo so bad!!!

L: Ham and Cheese sandwich. Ate 3 bites of the bread and then just ate the meat and cheese
S: SF Blue Bunny Ice Cream Bar (Made me dump--too much Sugar Alcohols)
D: 3 bites of Pot roast and about 3 bites of mac n cheese--wasnt real hungry
Hey Becky--I used to make soft boiled eggs for breakfast and eat it mixed with 1/2 piece of toast. I cant eat a whole piece of bread yet. I dont think your food choices are that bad. I think you like tators though.. haha... its ok. I used to would only eat the soft foods. Harder foods are hard for me. Esp roast, ham, pork chops, etc...
