Arlies- 6 more days!!
Oh, girlie!!! I am alternating between estastic and terror!!! I will be so glad when it is the 12th!!!! I can't wait to see you! You will get to see the hubby too. He is gonna come down with me and "stick to me like a tick." I already told Angie Bea that while I am in the operating room, he's likely to kill everybody within 3 miles of the hospital!!! He will be a wreck! He is pretty mild-mannered most times - UNLESS he is worried about me or I'm hurt or in some pain, then he can be wild!!! But mostly, I can't wait!!!

What time does your surgery start? Be sure to give your husband my work number so that he can contact me if needed. I will try my best to come over to the hospital on my lunch break and stuff to visit with you and see if you need anything. You will be fine, the staff at KMC is great! If you have any problems I will be glad to contact Lisa in the Surgery clinic so that she can get things taken care of immediately! At the support group meeting I heard good and bad comments about the care that the patients received here. The bad comments were very minimum. It was mainly just the nurses not getting the patient pain pills quick enough. Be sure if you have an allergy to morphine,as I do, ask for benedryl. That stuff will make me itch and I will scratch until I bleed. But it sure is good for pain! From what I understand you will have a self press pump of morphine after the surgery for the first night. Just keep focusing on the positives and how great you are going to feel and look once you become a "loser"!! These before and after pictures of the people that have already had the surgery just blow my mind! I can't wait to get my surgery date!! I am ready to be a loser!! I will be your while you are here and cater to the queen!! Call me if you just want to talk!
Love, Rhonda
