Good Mornin Everyone
Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to drop in and say hello. My puter is still in hospital. So i have not been able to get on here like i would like to. I am using my puter at work. (shhh, don't tell anyone...lol) Well anyway im at a stand still on the weight loss. Everyone here keeps telling me that it will start back up... i hope their right. its kinda dishearting to have gone thru the surgery and only have lost 37 pounds. I walk and i am eating like they want me to . Now don't get me wrong im not giving u*****thing i have come to far to do that....Oh, and another thing sometime i wander if she actually did the bypass because (now im not complaing cause i hate to be sick) I have not been sick not one time since i had the surgery on March 27th so its only been 7 weeks today. But I know she did it because i can't eat a lot . Well anyway I will stop now. I know the weight will start coming back off again. Let me ask a question, Does anyone here take anything for their gallbladder? I have got to start taking something to help me to keep from getting gall stones and it also is suppose to help break any up that do develop. Now this is a capsule the directions say to open and mix with food. not very tasty. so i was wandering if it would be ok to try and swallow this pill at this early stage in the game? now i do swallow my other meds like the nexium and the singular so i was just curious.... thanks for any help.... love ya'll tonya
P.S.
thanks for listening u guys.....i do luv ya'll.......
hi tonya, like joyce i too take actigall, i am 6 wks out and i swallow them too....just don't give up on your weight loss, i know before i eat anything i feel just like i always have, it feels like i haven't had surgery, but you know if you take one bite too much! it's very wierd, peanutbutter crackers never give me any problems, but just about any meat doesn't want to stay put no matter how much i chew. i know eventually i will get things evened out, so will you, you may want to try that pill before you eat anything, i have to anyway. good luck!
Dear Tonya,
Do not worry about your weight loss, you have done well at 7 weeks! It takes TIME and patience to get the weight off. Your body is healing it's self and little by little if you follow the eating plan, you WILL lose!!!!! I promise!!!! Some lose faster than others and then stop losing earlier, others lose slowly and over a longer period. Start eating more protein or drinking protein shakes, start walking more, even in the mall or anywhere! Drink more water, it takes a lot of fluids to move the fat out of your body! There are a lot of nasty chemicals that your body will get rid of during the weight losss process....... In a few months you will be amazed! It just takes time!!!
