Total Cal: 510 Fat: 18 Sat: 5 Poly: 2 Mono: 6 Carbs: 45 Fiber: 7 Protein: 40 Here I go again. What is up with all these high carbs. Today I ate: B: Protein Shake S: 1/2 Banana L: Lean Gourmet Meatloaf meal (didnt eat all the brocolli) D: 1 Oz of Mac and Cheese --------------- Later I will have a SF popsicle. What did yall eat today?

Here's what I ate today: Calories: 1087 Fat: 32 Sat: 16 Poly: 2 Mono: 8 Carbs: 103 Fiber: 11 Protein: 97 Beats me about the carbs but I found out today that bananas are LOADED with carbs. Who knew??? Mine isn't divided into meals, all nice and neat. It's clumped together! For instance I didn't eat 2 bananas at one time and I ate 1/2 cup of cottage cheese at lunch and 1/2 at supper.... 2 small Bananas - 47 carbs in them!!! 2 Corn Tortillas 1 Italian Sausage - chicken & turkey with peppers 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese 1 small Apple Pork Rinds (2 servings, bad girl!) 3 lowfat string cheeses 2 slices of Oscar Mayer Sliced Ham (97% lean) A tad of lettuce, dried tomato and red pepper I wrapped the Ham arround the string cheese with some lettuce and rolled it up in the tortilla with the dried tomato and red pepper. Now I have the nibbles, and since (for a pre-op) my calories aren't too bad, I may have a LITTLE something like an orange.... Smoochies Arlies

Hey you guys I want to join in to. So here it goes for me from yesterday. B: One of those small breakfast burritos from mcdonalds has egg, cheese and sausage in it Snack: Slim Jim with Cheese L: Grilled chicken sandwich (only ate 1/2 of it) and a small side ceasar salad from Wendys (only ate about 1/2 of it) Also had a diet coke with it Snack : the other half of my chicken sandwich Supper: I was bad and did not eat anything. I got so busy cleaning my house that I basically just did not get hungry and did not eat. Calories= 921 Fat = 52 Carbs = 53 Protein = 57 BTW I joined Curves yesterday and had my first workout at lunch yesterday and I LOVE CURVES. It is the best workout and let me tell you I am filling it today! Have a good day you guys! Denise

Yeah!!! We want everybody to join in, but folks haven't been real keen so far. We are so very glad you did. You did well on the calories, but your protein needs upping. My fats and carbs are out of hand!!! I dunno what to do, other than eat cottage cheese all the time!! I love it so that helps! Keep up the good job!!! Smoochies Arlies

Hey girl. I have stopped at McDonalds a time or two and gotten those burritos. They are good but I dont eat the tortilla. Do you? I was told we shouldnt eat that but if it is sitting well with you I am gonna try it. THe slim Jim sounds good too. I might have to stock up on those. On your chicken sandwich did you eat the bread?? I am so nosey. I am just trying to learn what is ok and what is not. So you like Curves? I have heard it was good. I think you are doing great. You got more protein in than me. Its hard. Oh Arlies... I want that Italian Sausage... Please send it to my address ATTN: C Clayton (CONFIDENTIAL) Nobody has to know what it is... You got lots of protein in and thats good. I think I will stop and get me some pork skins on my way home. THey are low in carbs and have protein dont they? Whats bad about pork skins?? What exactly is string cheese?

Hey Christine, Yeah I do eat the tortilla they are better for you than actual bread in fact i make those breakfast burritos all the time at home with fajita sized tortilla and i buy the low carb ones they taste just the same. it is just easier during the week to run through their and buy those for me. I also did eat the bread on the chicken sandwich. I did not start eating bread until say 3-3 1/2 months out its is just a try it and see if you can tolarate it thing. I dont eat too much bread though. I eat more crackers than anything. Although sometimes I will buy wheat bread and take one piece of bread and spread peanut butter on it and eat that. wheat bread is much better for you than white bread. but then again everything that taste good is bad for you. lol lol the biotin is doing really good. I can especially tell with my nails. I do still have some hair coming out but not quite as much as before. I also take the prenatal vitamins now instead of the chewable ones. I am sure that is helping to. Oh yeah did you find out anything about the bcp's not absorbing. do you know that I started my period two weeks early so it makes me wonder if they are not absorbing on me. I am not going to worry about it too much it is all in God's hands. lol lol I am now down 77 lbs and I feel great! I think curves is going to be a wonderful move for me! I am really liking it. It is like I cant wait to get there tonight. Plus I plan to go mostly on my lunch hours on mon wed and fridays to workout that way it is done. you take care!! Denise

No, I never asked Janet about it again. I AM SO SORRY. I have an appt 2morrow with them and I will add that to my list of things to ask about. Another thing that concerns me with those pills are that we take them with water. Surely that washes them away. Call your OB and see what he says about you starting early. That would concern me. 77 pounds?!??!?!!? Holy Moly... Thats awesome. Its only been 4 months, right? Wow! Your gonna be at goal in no time. I switched back from the Vitamist to my multivitamins because I was sluggish all the time. I since learned that the vitamist is a joke and no good for us. No wonder I felt bad all the time. I have a spare bike if you ever want to go riding on Longleaf Trace with me on the weekends. Its so nice. Yes, it hurts after awhile but isnt that what its all about. We did 8.2 miles on Sunday. Come go with me! Bring your hunny too...

Her Majesty, I posted my diet for 1-6-05, but my computer was in the shop for 1-4 and 1-5 so I didn't post. Just wanted to let you know I wasn't blowing you off. I'll keep posting. You don't have long until your date do you? I'M proud of you! I weighed the other day and have not lost 1 pound. I still have 15 pounds to lose in 15 days! Send up some mega prayers. I have decided to go on a mostly liquid protein diet until my surgery. That way I know I will get it off. Well, I wanted to update you on me... Hope all is well and you are doing fine....
