Report in on Jan 1.....
Okay, you chicken lips, I only had 1 MS response (on the main board) and the Texas sneaker-over-er. I know you guys can do this so come on and join the boat!
Give us your totals from yesterday (I know some of you wanted to wait until today to start and that's okay!).
Here's mine: (I just did a copy and paste from fitday.com of the chart and lined it up alittle after I pasted it here)

Does anyone know the proper ratio of carbs to proteins? I know I did okay on Proteins because it was more that 60 grams (76), and I think the fat is too high....critique me....BTW, I drank water like I lived in a pond!!!
NOW REPORT IN SOLDIERS!!!
Smooch,

Oh no!!! I forgot. Too many parties and family around. I did not eat much for lunch today because I could not breath last night I had to sleep in the recliner last night. Too much food and way too much salt. All swoll up, I guess I really need a fluid pill. I almost let my husband take me to the er with chest tightness and shortness of breath. I will do better I promise.
This is not good! The chest tightness and shortness of breath. I suggest rather strongly you go to the doc. Hopefully, it's just too much to eat, but there are other things it might be. You take it easy and don't beat yourself up. We all have bad days...I have had about 47 X365(give or take a couple of days) of bad eating days!

Arlies,
Haven't gotten my intake down to that fine of a science-
But I think the ratio is-
40% Protein
40% (Low Glycemic) Carbs
20% Fat
(and aim to have as much of the Fats be Monounsaturated as possible)
I usually get-
55% Protein
35% Low Glycemic Carbs
10% Fats
That varies from day to day but averages right at this.
No Sugars, No White Flour, No Alcohol.
My rule of thumb is to keep my Carb intake below 40gms each day
And get in 80+ gms of Protein, and at least 12gms of fiber at the least.
This seems to work for my metabolism.
Best Wishes-
Dx
