I'm coming out

Hello everyone, (Happy New Year) This is my first post and it is dedicated to the Queen. I have been a member of AMOS since Feb. 04. The year 2004 has been a year of ups and downs as far as WLS. I've had high hopes only to find out that there was no way to reach my goal. I've been to several seminars in MS and LA and still nothing. I am now in the process of trying to get on Dr. S. list which I have been told by his nurse will take six months. I plan to take the next few months to learn as much as I can and do what it takes to get on that list. I just hope he doesn't stop taking voc. rehab. as payment. I look forward to talking to each of you. Debra D

Hi Debra, It's wonderful to hear from you! Were so glad you decided to come out and talk with us! Please don't give up! I have been going thru the process since August of 03 and still have a few hurdels to clear yet, but it's been well worth it! Just think of it this way one more day is just another day closer to your goal.
