Stage 4!! Down 22lbs!
Cheers Everyone,
Had my first appointment, 13 days since my surgery and was very pleased with 22 lbs gone. I'm trying to adjust to solids and so far...I've had an upset stomach. I'm trying baked chicken and mashed potatoes tonight. I'll be experminting with foods and my level of tolerance for the next few weeks. Will also be returning to my manager postion at a fast food resturant tommorow, just no lifting. Everyone have a great new year!
Later,
Josh
Hey Josh,
22 lbs. !!! That is great news. Glad to hear that you are doing so well.
And baked chicken n taters. WooHoo. Sounds like a good meal to me.
BTW where do you work ??? if you don't mind my asking.
Were fast food junkies so, I've probably seen you and didn't even know it
Don't be lifting any cute girls now, you lighter thing.
Tammy
AWESOME!!!
Before long, you will be out doing the (dance)
I met you at the hospital on your way out. You probably don't remember me, but I chased you down and introduced myself and told you that Arlies said to tell you goodbye. Anyway, I am fairly new to this site, but am waitlisted to have the surgery at Keesler also. How was your stay there and how were the nurses, etc.?
Keep up the good work!
Rhonda
Hey Josh
wow, 22 pounds!!!! That's awesome !!!!
Good luck on your new stage of eating, this is where the trial and error begins and I hope you do well and tolerate it all just fine. Little hint: chew chew chew . I followed my doctor's advice, since I didn't like pureed food, and actually chewed each bite 20 times, after a few days it made my jaw hurt and I got tired of eating Try some broiled fish as well, if you like fish. I loved it and it was easier than chicken.
Take care and have a great New Year!!!
