BRAGGING RIGHTS!!!

I just want to share my WLS news. I've LOST 200 LBS NOW!! My WLS surgery date was 02-02-2004. I got to enjoy shopping in the mall this year. People I've know forever do not recognize me!! What a difference in my life. I did enjoy a "controlled Christmas dinner". Small portions, limited sugar and salt. That did not stop me from having a great time. I'm thinking of everyone on the "waiting list", I was there this time last year. The wait will be worth it. Start cutting out sugar, salt, and carbonated beverages. It willl be to your benefit to get those out of your system. My new favorite product: Wal-Mart Great Value brand "Diet Tea with Peach". You can get the individual packets to mix with a bottle of water or the 2 qt pkg box. Find it near the Kool-aid section or the new diet section. Excuse me for patting myself on the back but, among WLS friends I thought you would allow me to endulge and brag.

Hi Glenda! Heck yeah, you have the RIGHT TO BE BRAGGIN' !! wow, 200 lbs, what an AMAZING success !! I'm down around 100 at this point and would like to drop around another 80-100 lbs, but at this point, OMG I am so happy to be below 230 lbs, I know I'm still obese but I am so much happier and if I didnt lose another pound, I'd be happy with my new life as well. Like you, I was able to get the holiday foods in small portions, but didn't miss out on anything. I just stayed off the pecan pie and sweet potatoes ( That sugar will kill me one day, so I don't even taste it... found out I don't dump on it and that temptation devil sits on my shoulder as it has been all my life, saying " one bite, just one bite" ) I 've gotten those single serving wal mart brand flavor packs, and love them! I love the iced tea ( not peach ) and since we purchase our water in the 20 oz bottles at wallyworld, it makes for a perfect quick-fix idea when I'm tired of the flavorless water at wor****ep those single serving packs in my desk drawer Do you still drink protein once a day? Just a question, since I've gotten so used to using mine as a food substitute, I'm kind of hesitant to give it up and was just looking to see who else uses them after 6 months? Great Job, and keep up the good work!! ~~ Andie ~~
