THANK YOU MS FRIENDS AND ANGEL :)
I just had to come to your board and see what all of you in good ole Miss were doing as you have been so wonderful to me. My angel Tammy and her cohorts (as they call themselves) have been so wonderful I have decided to declare myself an honorary resident of MS and visit you all. I hope all is well with you.
For those of you that do not know me, I am rather new to the message board. I will be having an open RNY on Jan. 21, 05 and I am very excited about the blessing for the New Year I have been given.
Holiday Hugs and Blessings to All,
Carolyn
Yeah, Carolyn!!!
We will gladly adopt you! Glad to have you. I dunno about your angel lady, tho, she twisted my arm today!!! lol But then she has also given me the most wonderful chocolate pie recipe in the world!! Actually, nobody in this world makes me laugh more than Tammy unless it's her hubby!!! Welcome aboard! Don't mind the crazies - we are all a little touched! (in fact, we even have a resident psycho doc....)
Smooch,
Arlies
Hey Carolyn,
I don't think you will find a better bunch of folks anywhere than right here. We do love to joke, cute up, act crazy (we're not really acting) and just have fun.
I am so glad that we found each other and you are always welcome here with us. Just come on and hang in there with us as we go on this crazy ride of life.
Tammy
Hi Carolyn
well, we're certainly glad to have you here, you'll find that this is a pretty active board and we do get together to chat every now and then ( just haven't because of the holidays, everyone was just SO busy! ) Come often and post often, do bring your problems here, we're happy to help and as there are more of us "posties" out here, we can definitely try to give you some advice on the little things that you may not want to bother the doctor with. Everyone has their own hints and tips and we LOVE to share, so don't be shy!
I myself had open RNY on 6/23/04 (omg.. has it been THAT long already! hard to believe!! ) and I've lost 75lbs since ( 106 if you add the pounds I dropped before surgery ) and I'm only regretting not having been able to do this years ago. We have many folks here that have had surgery way before me and some more that are about go to under the knife, so you see, a vast variety of experience here to help!!
Good luck and hope to see a LOT of you here!
