Another Newbie!!!

Hi all, im Becky, the one joyce referred here. Ive enjoyed all the msg's ive been reading. I can't wait to get to know all of you. Now, a lil bout myself. I'm 25 and have been going thru this process for about 3 years now. The first year was spent arguing with my own insurance company who never gave in. Now im set for surgery Jan 31, 2005. Im soooooo excited. Just hope they dont let me down like before. My original date was Dec 6. Then Dr Balke left and now im with Salemah. I'm waiting to meet him. I'm not married and dont have any kids. After my surgery i will finish my last semester of OTA school and graduate. So thats another thing im patiently waitin for. I know it will be worth the wait, i will be able to serve my patients to the best of my ability then..... Thats enough about me for now, mayb a lil toooo much! lol Well all and any info is welcome. Thank you all!!!

Welcome Becky, I am so happy you have a date for your surgery with Dr. Salameh. He will be my doctor too, I was with Blake. What a wonderful new year you will have. Sounds like you have had a busy year. Wont be long though now... Your gonna do great. Sorry to hear about all that that has happened with Dr. Blake although I think it may have been a blessing in disquise (sp?)...... Post often we love to keep this board hopping...

Hey becky! Glad to meet you! Welcome to the board. I, too, started with Dr. Blake, but will have surgery on Jan 11 at keesler in Biloxi with a team of 3 gorgeous men!!! And yes, Dr. S is a hottie!!! (fans, herself....). I will continue attending the UMC meetings because Keesler is too far to go for a meeting each month. I hope to met you there!
