Hey guys, just an update

Well, I've got most of my stuff done. I got the biopsy back from the GI and it was good news - everything is benign. There was some sign of GERD, but it said very mild and cleared for surgery. Met with voc rehab and the chart is going to the med director for a decision (still no money, but we'll hope). Kind of a chancy thing - Voc Rehab has to close your case after 90 days. If they don't get funding in that 90 days, what happens? They haven't told me that. I went for the fun at the Obesity clinic, but they said I missed the appointment with the nutritionist. I have to wait for another appointment (I never got the first on in the mail). That will be the last thing - and the waiting continues. The nurse practitioner said that she needed some of the results of the studies I had done at Rush, but that everything looked good and she would recommend the surgery - hipee!. Anyway, that what's happening - james.

Hey Doc I'm so glad that you are ok. That is the best news anyone could hope for. If you are going to the "class" with the nutritionist, they have another class on Jan 13. You'll need to call and talk to Emmie about getting an appointment to attend. If that is the thing your needing to do. I have an appointment for that class. We could be learning buddies.. As for Voc Rehab. I don't know what their deal is. They told my brother that they may not cover these surgeries anymore. But, for him to keep his appointment, once and if it was resched. after the Dr. Blake crapp. Who knows with them. Anyways.... I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY for you. Just don't give up !!!!!!!! Tammy
