Tues night UMC Support meeting..........

Hey I just wanted to catch yall up to date on the meeting tonight. Not alot happened. We ate and played dirty santa. I got a really pretty angel. There were about 20 people there tonight. Ok now for the news and like I said there is not alot to tell. 1. As of Fri Dec 17 Dr. Blake is no longer a part of UMC (DUHHHHHH) No explanation was given. 2. Dr. S is taking all of Dr. Blakes paitent's that had already had the inital visit with him and were doing Pre-op testing. 3. Dr. S is not accepting any new patients till he is through with Dr. Blake's patients. 4. They are redoing the Baratric Program at UMC but it will not affect the ones that are already in the pre-op process. 5. It is possible there will be a new Baratric Surgeon coming to UMC in June. 6. Kristy is leaving the Baratric Program but will continue to work at UMC. A lady named Joyce will be the new woman to set up support groups. I think that is about all that happened. But if you have any questions then feel free to ask me. Oh yea by the way I met a new lady tonight. Her name is Becky from Yazoo. She is really cool. She was supposed to have surgery with Dr. Blake on Dec 6 but it is now rescheduled for Jan 31 05 with Dr. S. She didn't know anything about this site so she is supposed to join us here. Thanks Joyce for letting us hear the report on Dr. B. Boy they really went out of their way to let us know something. Oh well at least we know we will be seeing Dr. S for our surgery sometime in 2005. I hope you got the prettiest ornament. Smiles, Jan
