Greeting from the other side.....
Hello to all and a many thanks to several for your emails and prayers and phone calls. Steve (my Angle) a special thanks. Arlies, thanks for the phone calls.
I had surgery Dec 6 and got home Dec 8, ALL was going great since I was walking a little further each day, went to SS and Church on Sunday.
Anyway, my plans were to go to work for part of a day Monday Dec13. At 4 am., I got up to wash my mouth out since I was having acid reflux taste. I must have stood up to fast and any way passed out (I was standing at the foot of my bed and felll on my tail bone...ouch>
DW got me back in bed, I took a sip of some pain Rx and went back to sleep finally. Went in and had some blood work done and found I am possibly dehydraded, so they say keep sippiing the water. Feel better now and actually am at work today (Tuesday) from 10-2, then I am going home and get in bed.
My hands are so cold since I have bee here at work. Mother DMIL (dear mother in law) drove me to work since I am still taking some pain Rx.
Staring the transition from clear liquid to liquid and the tomato soup tasted sooooo good on Monday. Still a little tought on the crushed up Rx's but I will prevail....Best wishes to all and thanks for your support

Ralph, I am so happy the surgery is behind you. Now about that tailbone fall! This happened to me many years ago and I am still hurting from it. Don't take it too lightly. Talk to a doctor about it because there may be somethings you can do the make it heal faster. You really need to take it slowly and not try to be a superman. Taking care of yourself now will make it all worth while in the future. You know you want to enjoy this new wonderful "light" life you are going to have. Take care and best of luck,
Smiles, Jan
That's my Ralph!!!
But boy, you need to slow down. Don't rush the getting well. We need you to stay healthy and be careful of that tail bone. As you get skinnier and skinnier, it is apt to give you troubles!
BTW, Have you heard??? I GOTS A DATE!!!!! Jan 11, 2005 at Keesler AFB with Dr. David Jenkins!!!!
You keep up the good work, but don't take it too fast.
Smoochers,
Arlies
