How did things go today at the doctor? Is everything alright? Also, how is your daddy doing?

My Dad's surgery went well as far as the outcome goes. They got the polyp and it was not cancer, but the surgery itself was really tough on him. They started out laproscopic and ended up having to cut him open because they couldn't get to the area of intestine well enough because of where it was positioned. He is in a great deal of pain and cannot have anything to eat or drink for a few days. They will let my mom give him a few ice chips every hour or so just to wet his mouth. HIs blood sugar is also trying to go high on him. Keep him in your prayers. I had my ultrasound done yesterday. My doctor won't have the official results from the radiologist until this afternoon, but I have gallstones. So the gall bladder will have to come out maybe as soon as Friday of this week. So possibly going under the knife. Keep me in your prayers. I was hurting really bad last night and did not get on the boards to give you guys an update. Sorry about that. I will let you know more details when I hear from my doctor today. Melissa Taylor

O am so glad it was not cancer... I am sorry to hear he is having a hard time. I promise he is in my prayers. I am sorry to hear you could be going under the knife again. I hope you got some really good pain pills to help ease it some. Thanks for the update. Let us know what the doc says with your results.
