Closed Dx at home with Flat Tummy! Thanks to all!

I'm Back Home! And the prayers did their trick! My Surgery went better than ever And I could have come home yesterday, But my Dr. just wanted, "To be Sure." Special, Special, Thanks to all of you For your support. And to Sweet Christine Clayton, For faxing me letters Of support and encouragement. And Thanks for the call Queen Arlies! I was laughing my day through a Thick haze of Demerol and Morphine When we talked on the phone, So I didn't remember about you date Until I saw it posted here, a few minutes ago. My "Pooch" not "pouch," is a thing of the past. I'm about 3 inches smaller around the waist And that's with the swelling. I could be in size 32W / 31L any day now. My "seam," or stitching is very fine, Looks like a thin line draw on with a Red Bic-Pen. Glad to be back! Thanks again- Best Wishes- Dx

I am so glad you are home and all is well!! I worried about my boy because of his last troubles with surgery, but I am glad to see that you behaved this time..... And I don't want to break your heart, but I have gained 3 new man toys - actually added them to my list of next hubbies....They are Dr. Jenkins, Dr. Mann, and Dr. Banks! Thanks so much Angie! I'm at 187 now with a goal of 185lbs, And my Dr. tells me that I've probably Got about 4 to 5 lbs of swelling! I may be "Under Goal" by Jan. 1st! Thanks for all of the support! Best Wishes- Dx

Dx, I am glad you are home and doing great. If I may ask which plastic surgeon did you use? When I achieve my goal, I mayl need a thing or two myself.......I Take it easy and rest. Michelle H

Hey Michelle! I didn't have a Plastic Surgeon. I used Dr. Byars. It really wasn't a Tummy Tuck, But a full re-Construction of my abdominal area. (profile) Although, I can't imagine a PS getting the scar/incision line, Any finer than he did. The majority of the skin that was actually Removed, was the "skin-graft" that had come from my thigh. He did put my abs back in place and tightened them up like a drum. Even though I'll have some loose skin, I think this is my Last surgery for quite some time. Best Wishes- Dx

YIPPEEEEE---Your back. You missed alot while you were gone. Lots of folks missed you! I am so happy your surgery went well. Are you ok? Is it miserable for you? You seem to be well. I hope you are completly recovered soon and done with surgeries. I hope you NEVER have to have another one. I am jealous of your flat new tummy--I hope to have one of those one day!

Christina, Thanks so much for sending the fax. It was very comforting to my wife That there were so many folks out there Keeping me in their prayers. Yes, I think this surgery finishes me up for good. From here on out it's exercise to tone areas. Thanks for all of your support- Best Wishes- Dx
