Dearest, Dear folks, Man, I leave you guys for two minutes and ya'll certainly get rowdy!!!!! Before I left you in on my big secret - a couple of things - 1. Dr. Blake's name is Roger Alan Christopher Blake. 2. For those of you comtemplating the diet pill "that replaces the surgery" just be aware that is is contra-indicated for folks with bp problems and diabetes....Just because it is all natural and herbal doesn't mean it is good for you, for example, hemlock is all natural and herbal, but you wouldn't drink it. Now, for the news - I HAVE A DATE, yeah, you already knew that!!! And the date is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . *drum roll please! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . January 11, 2005 - one month from today. My surgeon will be Dr. David Jenkins. Scrubbing in will be Dr. Mann and Dr. Banks. So on Tuesday, Jan 11, I will be surrounded by ALL three of Keesler's bariatric surgeons!!! Smoochies you guys, Arlies PS And how am I feeling???? I am going thru waves of pure terror, pure glee and happiness, and pure non-belief!!!! Keep me in your prayers!

well its about time. super congrats my prayers will be with you for next month to pass quickly and unevently. its normal to be scared. i was nervous wreck the week before. we had to leave home at 5am that day and i sat at the computer and looked a pix of my sis and me taken at the lake. and i cried and cried. she was supposed to be there with me and she wasn't. but i know she was one of the angels who was there. super good luck. hope to join yall on chat tonite susan

Arlies, Congratulations on your Surgery date and approval. You are in such capable hands and probably couldnt ask for a better team of Drs.
