Went to the doctor and my neck break is still very evident. I have to wear the halo through the new year and then he will take more x-rays to see if it is healing. If not, then surgery will be my next step. With this surgery are many risks. I was so hopeful of getting it off and having my neck be healed but..... He told me that if I were still heavy and healthy that I would be better off. I am not absorbing enough calcium to heal the bones in my leg and neck so therefore, I would have probably been healed had I not had the surgery. I don't regret having it but I sure am worried about losing my mobility with neck surgery. Thank all of you for your prayers. You are all so wonderful. Back to the Vitamin D milk and chewable Tums!! (Might I add that I have not lost any weight since October 1.) All this high fat milk and stuff is killing me!! Love y'all. Kits

Well shucks! I hate that you have to wear your halo for more time. I am praying that it is healing and you do not have to have surgery. Your weight loss will pick up again after you get more mobile. What kind of milk are you drinking? I havent had white milk except once after surgery. I dumped really really bad and havent tried it again. I do drink the carb countdown choc milk but sometimes I just want some white milk. Double up on your tums---you will heal soon!

Hey Kitsy, Bless your heart. You have been through the ringer a time or two. Maybe shortly after the new year it will come off. And you will be up and out running around the town. I can see you now out strutting your stuff. But, on a lighter side. You are truly going to be a Christmas Angel, Halo and all. You can be my special Christmas Angel. You can vent and pity party all you want. I'll listen when nobody else will. Hang in There Sweetie, Tammy
