Honesty of Children

Good evening everyone! Well, it was one of those days today. Got home, really tired. Don't want to do anything. I did manage to go to the gym on my lunch hour and do 25 minutes of weights, but my plans to fit some cardio in had been cancelled. That is until my three year old made her comment. She says, "Mommy you gonna do that tae bo in a minute?" I said not tonight. I am too tired. She says, "You better do it. You don't want your butt to grow back." I laughed really hard. And well, I guess you all know what I am about to do. Yep, tae bo. So good night to all. Sometimes a few words from a child can really be motivating.

Oh, yeah, she has her sports bra on and we are about to get started. I know hard to believe I found a sports bra that small for a toddler, but believe it or not they do make them. We would already be started but my father dropped by and saved me for a few more minutes. This is not the first time her little tongue has gotten me either. I was blow drying my hair the other day and she comes in and says: "Hey mommy you have a waddle on your arm like Gee-Gee has on his chin." She was referring to the skin that hangs down from my grandaddy's chin. She calls it a waddle. She was comparing my arm flab to his waddle. Yeah, I did want to pull her little tongue out because I was proud of the fact that despite the huge weight loss I really didn't have that much skin on my arms or so I thought anyway. Oh well. Got to love the innocent honesty of a child. LOL. Melissa Taylor

Awww.... I wonder if I could handle Tae Bo... I doubt it. Probably not yet --I would like to start doing kickboxing though. They used to have it at the Y but I dont think they do anymore. I cant wait til my butt is gone and I get threatened with it growing back! I have been trying to get everyone to feel my newly found BUTT bone. Its amazing all the body parts you discover when a little padding comes off. Melissa did you see my other article in the paper on the 3rd? I am so proud of them. I am so anxious for the year update! You should get some before and after photos put on here so everyone can see how amazing you look. When I first got home from the hospital my daughter rode the bus home and I was laying in the bed with my binder on and barely moving... she came in with a neighbor friend and said "Your not skinny--I thought thats why you were in the hospital-to get skinny" She just doesnt understand its a work in progress..

Hey Girlie, Speaking of your article. Is that paper online? My daddy goes to Hattiesburg 1 or 2 times a week to the Citizens National Bank and I've told him that I wanted him to see if anyone that works there may have it or if there is a paper box close by where he could pick me up a paper when your articles are in it. Talk later, Tammy

I did not see your articles but I would love to see them. You will have to bring me copies so I can see them. What days were they in there? I know about missing a little padding. My behind actually gets sore from sitting at my sons basketball games now. I guess I'll have to get me a cushion. Never needed one before. Had one built in. Hee! Hee! Til later, Melissa
