Stacey Hux

Stacey was one of Dr Blake's patients. Her husband Glen got her transferred to Texas. She has just undergown surgery and everything is looking like she will now have a wonderful outcome. It will be a very long road to recovering(b/c of laying at UMC and them doing nothing for so long) Please keep her and her family in your prayers. This has been a very very long trying and life threatening condition for so long.

I have been wondering about her. What was this surgery for? When was it? I am glad she is better. smooch, Arlies

She has been eating and everything. She was scheduled to go home on Thanksgiving day but spiked a very high fever. They took her to surgery and found staff infection throughout her abdomen. They removed all of it and said she would be on the vent for about 4 days. She woke up and came off the vent in one day. They are expecting her to make a great recovery since she was already eating great.(At UMC they could not get her stomach to work at all)

Thanks for the update Donna. We have all been wondering how she is. And you have came through for all of us. Prayer are said daily for her. Did Dr. Blake go to Texas with them? What all have they done to get her on the "right track" ?
