This may get complicated but a friend of my grandmothers son is having surgery. He is fairly young and his dr recommended this website. If you have any input for him on what to expect or any words of encourgment it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gang Becky

Hey Becky! I AM so glad you posted this. I have been wondering about Joshua. His Dad emailed me a while back and I answered him, but have not gotten another response. Joshua was to have his surgery at Keesler. Has he had it? Do you have any further info? PLEASE find out what you can! If I remember correctly Joshua is 20 years old and goes to State, but is taking next term off (or this one?) for his surgery. His dad works with the ANG at Meridian as does my brother and I have forgotten to ask my brother if he knows him....Lemme know EVERYTHING you can find out!!! Smooch Arlies PS I read his profile and called my brother and my brother knows his Dad and brother. Jesse (bro) is gonna give the Dad my phone number so we can chat! His surgery date is Dec 14. PS here's his profile: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=M1099250538 and here is his surgery page: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/status.phtml?N=M1099250538

Becky, Thanks for bringing this up. If it helps, I'm available for any questions and such from another guy, and particularly one that's in the midst of college life. Even though I'm an "old fogey" Professor in my 40's, I think I may have some good sources of info. I dropped by Josh's support page. Hope he's (you're) reading/lurking out here. It's a great group! Best Wishes- Dx

Hey man, just come on in and get busy. Sometimes its fun to stay out of site and read, sometimes its fun to be in the middle of what's going on. Just whatever fits. The important thing is that this is a great group of people with no qualms about talking about ANYTHING. james.
