I'm Sorry Folks!! I forgot to tell everybody that my surgery had to be rescheduled for next year due to problems at work with me taking more time off. I was originally out for 21 weeks for my initial surgery so I guess they figure I have taken enough time off this year....that's really a nice way to put it...they weren't really as nice about it, but I aint gonna argue with them. Anyway, I have good news!! MY WOUND HAS FINALY HEALED!!!! I guess it's about time! It's only taken 8 and a half months! I'm so happy I could do cartwheels Thanks again for the prayers, I appreciate it!! You guys are da bomb! Later Jimmy

To fix the hernia will they have to open that cut back open or do they make another one?

Well, since I have like the ugliest scar in the world he is going to cut out the whole scar and then fix the hernia through that opening then he'll staple me back up and hopefully i'll heal right up and i'll have a normal looking scar...that's the plan anyway. I'm going to talk to him about going ahead and getting rid of this loose skin during the surgery too...might as well kill as many birds as I can with that one stone, if you catch my drift I'll know more after I go to Jackson on Thursday and talk to him about it....i'll keep you posted. Later CC Jimmy

Hernia repair....had it done "after" all my weight loss and they did a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin and guess what.....insurance covered all but $300. MOST insurance companies will NOT cover a tummy tuck but w/the hernia repair somehow they did! Lucky me! Good Luck Jimmy! It was not a fun surgery and recovery took forever. I was out of work for 2.5 weeks.
