What is UP in here???

Where is everyone? Why is nobody posting regularly? Does my breath stink- do my under arms? Since when is it acceptable to HAVE a life and ignore the MS chat? Anything new at UMC? Any news on the disappearing doctor? ****Gotta brag about Jimmy---he is looking good...He needs to update his profile with a new picture so everyone can see--he looks lots different **** Good news is my sister is contemplating having this surgery now. She asked me about it earlier. She is coming to the seminar on Dec 2nd. I hope she does this. UPDATE PEOPLE. I dont have a life so I wanna hear about yours!!!! PS... I have lost 38 pounds... Hi Christine, Jo is doing fine. She goes back to the Dr Dec 2. She is alot better than she was. She hasnt puked in 2 days.. wooo hoo!! She is getting more liquids & protien in now. So that is why she is probably feeling better. I am not having surgery. Some how that got on my profile. Jo is going to have to change it, lol Take Care Randall

I am so glad she has NOT puked in 2 days. Its such a relief. We were all real worried about her for awhile. Things are looking up. I have a hard time with my protein too so I cant say anything about that. Take care of yourself and HER...

Hi! This is my first time on the site. I am very interested in the lap band surgery and am trying to find out how to get started? How do I find out if my insurance will pay. What doc. do I go to etc... I am from Natchez, MS so I am sure I will have to travel. What about the seminar on Dec. 2nd where is it and what is it about?

The seminar in Hattiesburg is with my Dr. He only does Open RNY..He does not do lapband. Unfortunatly I do not know ANYTHING about it either. Maybe some of the others will chime in. As far as insurance--best thing to do is call and get the requirements. Most insurances can recommend a doctor to you too. Who do you have insurance through?

I have heard positive things about United. Call them and see what they say about Lapband. I think my insurance (Empire Blue) considered it expierimental. I wanted the BIG momma (RNY) though anyway.. Haha... Good luck to you and let us know what you find out.
