Last Thanksgiving/This Thanksgiving

Last Thanksgiving I was 5 months post op eating dinner with 75+ family members at the VFW Hall in Oxford, Mississippi with 200+ dishes to choose from. I could only eat a few bites. Over the next couple of months it became obvious I could eat a lot more than a post op should and I found out I have a staple line disruption (I wasn't transected - BIG MISTAKE). This Thanksgiving I will be able to eat as much as I ever did pre-op but yesterday I got that long awaited phone call telling me CIGNA has approved my revision surgery. I'm going to get FIXED - YAY. I sure hope this second surgery works better than the first one did! =) DeeDee
