CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING!!!

The Christmas Tree lighting in Meridian will be today at 5 PM at City Hall. I hope to see some of you Merdian folks there. The Choir from MCC will be singing - their first concert of the year....and guess who is in it??? That's right the big boy, Jon! So come out and see my handsome child sing! I have already called the City Hall and have obtained special parking for Barbara, Emmalee and I. (Jim won't get there in time....) I will be hard to miss because I will be parked at the edge of the roped off area...The lady was so sweet and nice that is coordinating this!! Come see Jon sing!!! (No, I don't think he has a solo, but he is a real cutie pie and very loveable so it is worth the sighting!!!) Smooch & Hugs Arlies

Awwwww!!!! I do so wish I could come!! I love christmas concerts and everything about christmas....I was in the chior in highschool and college. My favorite songs at christmas is Carol of the Bells, and O Holy Night!! I really wish I could come but with trying to get packed and moved I just dont have the time or the energy to drive that drive!! I do good to get to the grocery store and back but give Jon my best! The first song they sang was Carol of the Bells!!!! They were so good!! And my Jon was a head taller than the other kids (6'4") and I could pick his voice out over the others...I am one proud Momma... Smooch Arlies
