UPDATE ON DONNA TERRELL

I called this am and talked to Patty's husband, Jason (Donna's son-in-law). Patty wasn't feeling too good today, so Jason was in charge. Jason says that Donna is alot better. Her ventalitor setting is down to 50 and her oxygen looks good. When her vent setting is down to 40, they are gonna start weaning her off it. BUT if she remains on the vent thru this week, they will do a tracheotomy (sp). She has been weaned off some of her IVs but is still having a great problem with diaherra and they say that is probably due to the antibotics. Yesterday her fever was down to 97 ALL day, but last night it spiked back up to 101. Docs says this is not unusual and is not something to get real concerned about. (It is my understanding that sometimes one will run a fever simply from being in bed with no activity.) Keep the prayers coming!!! Smooch Arlies
