Where Is Dr. Blake?

Has anyone heard why there are sooo many cancellations and unscheduled surgery dates for Dr. Blake. I have called his office on several occasions and his nurse Christy Tucker keeps saying I should receive something in the mail. What is Going On? Is anyone else experiencing difficulties?

My Sister called me this evening and said that she received a letter from Blake's office and said that her appt is canceled until further notice. HaHaHa... I told her that he is AWOL.. Oh well....no prob for her, she was going to already go to a Seminar next week with Dr Cleveland's Staff ~Jo~

Could you please give me more information on Dr. Clevelands Seminar next week I may need to do as your sister has done. Thank you for responding!!!

Dr. Blake is on some kind of leave from the hospital. His staff began canceling appointments on 1 Oct and has canceled everything from that point thru - I dunno when- but at least Nov, I think. My pre-surgery appt was Oct. 5. I would have gotten my surgery date that day, but it was canceled. Where he is and why he is on leave is anybody's guess. I could tell you all the things I have heard, but they are just rumors. The people that know aren't talking but the people that don't know certainly are. I have heard that he will never be back and I have heard he will be back in a couple of months and that he will be back at any minute....all rumors....None of us know for sure why he is on leave.....I wish we did. I think we'd all feel better if we knew more about the situation. All I can tell you for sure is that on or about 1 Oct., his staff was told to start canceling all appointments until further notice. As far as I know, further notice has not come to pass and we are all still canceled..... Worrisome, I know....I am not real happy about it either. Smooch Arlies

i am one of dr blake's pat. i got a letter from them (daphyne) (sp) saying they had cancelled my dec 9th appt and would be rescheduling. and something about dr blake or the gastro dept would be getting their own clinic, so maybe he is getting a bigger and better place. thats all i know susan

Do you really want to know what I think ??? Frankly, I think that a big UFO swept down late one night and took him. He has been abducted by little green aliens that have very big unusual shaped heads. And they have these very large tear drop shaped deep black colored (almost mirrored) looking eyes. And he is never ever coming back. Well, at least not until they get done "observing" him. Honestly, that is what must of happened. Because how else can you explain his dropping off the face of the earth. Without anyone knowing anything, might I add. HA Yeah right !!! Like we were born yesterday !!! I know that isn't exactly what you were wanting or expecting to hear. But what can I say. I wanted to make you and all of his other (left out there for the wolves to eat) patients to smile. Hope it worked !!!

I think everyone should just go to Dr. Lugwig in Biloxi at Gulf Coast Medical Center...He and the Live Light Staff are incredible!!! (Just my 2 cents) Y'all have a good day!!!
