A great big "Thank You"

I want to say Thank you to everyone for all the encouragement and support during my surgery. I can't express how great I felt when I received a plant from Dex and the printouts from the website. I had chill bumps....I found this website back during the summer and I have been reading and getting educated on WLS. I initially saw Dr. Blake during August for Gastric Bypass.. but I wanted to wait until the summer because of school. So, when I found out Dr.Byars in Oxford was doing LapBand..that is really what I wanted to do instead of Gastric Bypass. I immediately called his office. Me and 2 other girls had surgery on Monday and everyone did great. My husband and I walked the hall some Monday night and went by and talked to both. I wish Dex would've come by my room I would've loved to have met him.. between his great posts and Mrs. Arlies I have really enjoyed this web site....Again, thanks from the bottom of my heart...I am home, doing great but getting around slowly.... that is to be expected...Anyone looking for a great doctor..I totally recommend Dr. Byars...on a scale from 1-10... I give him an 11..

Hey you loser you!!!! I am very pleased to hear how well you are doing!!! ah, heck, you didn't get to meet our Dex in person??? I've not either! But he is a great guy! It feels great to say I am a "loser"..haha.. My procedure went better than I would've ever expected. I am really sore today, but I am walking alot and eating a little..I am on 1oz sugar free stuff every hour (jello, broth, uns. tea) etc..but I am not eating that often...just not hungry right now. I wish you luck on your surgery..I know you are ready. Have you considered LapBand? If I can help you anyway, please let me know. Michelle, So sorry to not get back to meet you the next day. You were just out of surgery when I dropped in and I Didn't want to be a bother. Even as an Angel for Lady B. I remain a phantom. She only saw me through a gallon Of morphine. So Glad to hear that you're Home so soon. I'm Walker Byars only "problem Child" And I want to keep that record. Best Wishes- Dx
