Revision anyone?

It has been 7 years since I have my Gastric Banding in Houston, Texas and the doctor that performed my surgery is deceased. I lost nearly 200# but have now gained about 40# back. I really need a revision and thought about Dr. Cleveland in Jackson at CMMC. Has anyone heard if he does revisions or does anyone know a doctor in Mississippi that performs this period?

Are you just looking for a doctor to adjust the band? I'm not sure if Dr. Cleveland does that. You can call their office and see though. Their number is 601-376-2474. Just ask for Adam Dungey. He is the head RN at the CMMC Bariatric Center and should be able to help you. Good Luck! Jimmy

Elizabeth, I just had a revision in April. Dr. Walker Byars in Oxford performed my surgery. I had no complications. He converted my old surgery, VBG, to a RNY. He is in with Dr. King. You should call and talk to them. He was experienced in revisional surgery and was absolutely wonderful. Kitsy 253/237/170/142

I have been racking my brain - such that it is- and I know somebody else is doing a revision, but cannot for the life of me remember! I just talked with Susan at Dr. Salameh's and he doesn't do revisions. Dr. Blake, if he were taking patients, also does not do revisions. What about the folks in Oxford? They might....Dex E would be the one to contact for their numbers....Glad to hear from you tho, please keep us posted on your journey and what happens with you.
