SCARED I HAVE A HERNIA

Hey yall, well so far im down to 247, not bad, but since I got my promotion at work, I haven't been walking around as much and the weight loss has slowed a bit. I guess I need to get my butt in gear and excersise more. Well a problem im having is, you all know I had open gastric bypass, and on my scar line, actually on the right side of my scar there is a bulge there that is hard. It's really sore in the morining when I wake up because I usually sleep on my tummy, have any of yall experienced anything like this? Im scared its a hernia. It usually goes away when I walk around but then at other times it bulges out again. Im scared,I don't want anymore surgeries! crystal

Sounds like a hernia. SEE A DR. ASAP. I had two but they were soft and squishy. But contributed to my back pain. Plastic surgeon diagnosed them. I had hernia surgery and skin removal done at at the same time. No biggie---except for a seroma that occurred later. Get to the DR!!!! glenda
