Hello fellow Mississippians!! Sorry I missed the chat last night. We stood in line at a haunted forrest here for very long before we finally gave up and then realized it was a 4 hour wait --we then went and rented some movies and by the time we got home it was late. Did yall talk about me..... How is everyone doing this morning? Dont forget to fix your clocks! Yippeee---we get to sleep later! I think my plateau is ending (oh I pray)--I weighed this morning and am down another pound. Its a start. I just cant seem to ditch the scales. Even though it does make me crazy! Just wanted to say Hi to all of you and I hope you have a great day! Going to clean my house now... wish me luck and pray that I dont get lost in the laundry room! Its hell in there. Christine! -24 pounds from surgery morning (24 days)

Hi Christine, good morning to you, too ! Girl, you're stressing TOO MUCH about them pounds. Just trust me when I tell ya, no matter what, you WILL lose and you WILL have times where the scale won't budge. Haunted house eh? I remember standing in line at one once for hours and never making it in. Sucks. I be****ching movies was just as good at home, though, wasn't it?? Myself, I went trick or treating with my five year old, once around the block and she got a WHOLE pumpkin full of candy. Rented some mushy movies, since hubby's gone for three weeks at sea, I can watch all the mushy ones I want to he he he he By the way, if you haven't seen Jersey Girl, I highly recommend it !! Take a box of tissues and have at it ! Have a great Sunday , everyone! Andrea

Hey Andrea... Guess I am gonna have to make my husband hide the scales. I saw Jersey Girl on the shelf and I almost got it but didnt. Maybe when we take these back I will get it. We got Van Helsing, Garfield, and Monster. Daughter wanted to watch Garfield first so she did and hubby and I fell asleep. He is watching Van Helsing now as I clean the house. Typical male! Anyway---I am going to watch Monster this afternoon. I have heard it was really good. My daughter didnt have much luck trick or treating. Not many people round here BELIEVE in Halloween. Poor baby...One lady told her "I do not celebrate Halloween"...she didnt know what to say. Emily doesnt associate Halloween with evil - Just candy. Next year we have decided to have a little Halloween party in our yard. Costume party, grilling, dancing, bob for apples, piniata (sp), goulish music, hay ride, bonfire, etc.... It will be much more fun. I hope anyway...She is ok with this. She will get to give candy out to whoever comes up. We can have all the guests bring one door prize each and we can give them out as prizes for the costume contest, dance contest, bob for apples, pinita. Stuff like that. I think it will be fun. YALL WILL ALL BE INVITED AS WELL.... Talk to ya later -- birds are out and chatting away in there. Gotta go check on them. Chow!

A halloween party? hmm.. now THAT sounds like a plan! Count me in.. if our ship hasn't been decommissioned yet by then! When it gets cooler here in Mississippi, it reminds me living in San Diego. I miss California so much, I'm praying they send us back there. As for the woman who told your daughter she doesn't celebrate Halloween, I , as an outspoken mother of three mouthy girls, would have told the woman " then turn your porchlight off on halloween, you old hag!" Is it just me or are people getting progressively more anal these days? I mean, I'm really a very tolerant person, but I really think that if someone feels that strongly about a heathen holiday, it would have been nice to say " oh , honey I am sorry, I forgot today was halloween, I don't have any candy to give, but how about a quarter? " and then shut her door and turn off her light? Who tells a little kid things like that? Not celebrating Halloween. Hey, let's go EGG her house LOL Anyways, I'm sitting here watching my movie < sniff sniff > and lemme tell ya, what a tear jerker. I also rented that Jim Carey movie, Eternal Sunshine .. something.. Love them Sundays sittin' at home watching sob-stories LOL Andie

Hey gang! Well I did take Austin trick or treating for his first time last night and he RACKED up on the candy!!! We went with some friends and only went to a few houses in a neighborhood that was well know by one of us going.. And as for the woman being soo rude to your little girl i am like Andrea on this on I would have told the old hag to turn of her darn light..lol..BUT As for Arlies HUN you got a GOOD reason!! I have already heard the story and I DONT blame you ONE BIT! We just took the kids to a few houses and then had a little supper get togeather at my friends house for the kids. We enjoyed ourselves so it was fun. I am proud of myself I walked all the way around a big block in the neighborhood without having to stop and sit down!! but when it was time to go around the BIG block I went and got the car cause my hips were beginning to hurt and it was getting really dark and we needed the headlights especially with a baby with a trache and on oxygen..it was a real good just in case. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!! OH YEAH TODAY IS MY MOMS BIRTHDAY TOO!!! God Bless, Angie Bea
