voc rehab

Well, if anything its GREAT to know youve got my back... haha!! I just cant get over Dr. Blake. 1-2 weeks maybe---3 and 4 whatever he is going on now-its getting ridiculous. If he hadnt been out maybe 2 or 3 could have had their surgeries by now from this board. I just dont understand. As far as those hate emails---I dont understand that either. I will NOT respond to any hate mail. I am not hear to upset ANYONE. I know who you are speaking of and I hope this person doesnt email me bashing yall cause I wont tolerate that either. Yall are precious to me. I just hope all works out soon for everyone.

Don't despair Jane!! Kristy Ethridge used Voc Rehab AND Dr. Salameh!!! I know how you feel though about the wait...My pre-surgery appt was Oct 3. And here I sit waiting still and no clue when my surgery is coming...We did gang up on Dr. Salameh the other night and BEG!!! We all want our surgery, and it looks like Dr. B. will not be back for some time - at least that's the latest rumor....Again, just a rumor, cause there seem to be no facts being told.... Maybe if you told Kristi at Dr Blakes office that they were pushing you for info at voc rehab and you wanted to go to Dr Salamah before they just decided not to pay for your surgery then she would let you go. As a professional courtesy to other physicians in the same speciality (especially in the same office or hospital) will only take anothers patients if they approve of it. Since the physician is AWOL then it is left up to the nurse. The decision is completely up to Kristi. Surely she has a heart and will let you move over to Salamah?! Vocational rehab may have to re do some paperwork, but there should not be a problem there since they were"partners". My cousin is over voc rehab here in my county and she said it should not be a problem at all for voc to change physicians since it was his partner (and does accept voc rehab)and your primary surgeon is AWOL.

I know I am jumping into this kinda late, but what is going on with this doctor? Has he had an accident? Susan

His office refuses to give out any information at all. Just says he is not here and dont know when he will be back.

I worked at a hospital, and in a very large clinic. When a doctor just disappears like this, and no one will talk about it, chances are very high that the doctor has had to go to re-hab for drugs, alcohol, or complete exhaustion. Had this happen to several doctors at our clinic. Employees cannot under any cir****tances tell you where that doctor is or when he will be back. I have seen on this list that his nurse refuses to allow his patients to transfer to another doctor. I don't think she can lawfully do this. She is trying to save his practice, but it is hurting his patients. You have a right to have your records sent where ever you want them sent. They are YOUR records.
