Any postops on here get hiccups really bad after surgery. I get them everyday and it is painful. Am I the only one?

On the main board many say they get the hiccups when they are full. Instead of getting the full feeing from the tummy they get hiccups, sneeze, or thier nose runs. There is a medical term for this, but I am sorry I do not remember it.

Hi Christine, I don't get the hiccups.. I get the belche's! And they hurt too. I get them mainly after I eat.

Yup, used to get them all the time after I started eating regular food again...it just takes some time for your digestive tract to figure out what the hell is going on....it eventually figures itself out and gets back to normal....at least this has been my experience. Later CC! Jimmy

I get hiccups when I eat fast and when I'm full. Its a lifesaver, because without them, I would easily overeat and end up sick as a dog. I get the burps a lot too, never had that problem in my life before, depending on what I eat, if it's something new, my stomach gurgles and rumbles, but I seem to have an iron pouchy, tolerate it all, never get nauseted, only overeating hurts. Therefore I've learned to pre-measure rather than waiting to feel full. By the time I feel it, its too late and I feel miserable, have to lay down and die for an hour or so Andrea
