UPDATE on IM HOME
Ok Gang..
Here I am again!! Back from my other Drs appt. Everything is OK there too! Alright..some of you know a little about what happened to me Saturday! But I will go ahead and post for the others.
I had been pucking ever night for a week. I was told by alot of WLS patients from the message board(S) that this is normal! Saturday...I had chronic direahea....LOTS OF CRAMPING...HURTING IN CHEST!! Couldnt eat or drink! It hit me in like a flash.. I was sitting at the pc...waiting for my yahoo support chat group to begin ..and at 7:15... eyes went blurry, got dizzy.. stormach went bezerk! I told DH,... I gotta go to bed.. He followed...layed there about 5 mins asking me what was wrong and what happened.... He wanted me to go to the ER and I said No, this will pass....as I lay there crying in agony...terrorizing pain. I asked him to get online and contact one of my WLS friends that had the surgery this past March and ask her if there was anything that I could take, like Malox or just anything....and she called me immendiately and told me that this is NOT normal and to call my surgeon.. So my dear lovable DH didn't waste any time...He called Dr Cleveland...however. Dr Frazier was on call for Dr Cleveland.. This nice Dr told me that this was NOT normal and chewed my butt for not contacting Dr C before now. And recommended that I come to Jackson and be checked out at the CMMC at the ER... I told him that I would talk to my hubby and then decided...But, for the ones of you that know my DH...there was no discussing nor deciding...He was up packing! Away we went.. Got to the ER about 11:00 PM....they did CT and put dye in my veins...Nothing showed up! He called Dr Frazier, and then came back in the room and siad that they both discussed this and thought that it would be best if I was admiited...SOOOOOO...I was admitted....Monday...a gastrologist did endopscope on me...to see if I had anything...And NOTHING! So...I think it must've been a bad intestional & upper GI virus! I was dehydrated, so pls new WLS patients...when you start puking and ~~or direahea..call your surgeon..WE dehydrate so much faster than others! Thanks for the onest that called me ..and the ones that supported me in their prayers and thoughts! I love you gang!!

Girl, you had all of us scared for you. Some of us didnt even know what had happened.
We asked about you last night at UMC Support group meeting.
I am sooo glad you are ok! Next time you call your doctor sooner! Its hard to not take advice from the support board but sometimes we just gotta not listen and listen to our guts (or our hubbys guts)....
