Hi I was just wondering who else had a lot of complications with their surgery. I had a pretty rough time and my incision still hasn't healed after 7 months. I also had a leak. Anybody else here have any similar complications? I'm praying every day that this wound will hurry up and heal. I'm excited about my weight loss but it's hard to get too excited knowing I still have a hole in my gut And even when my wound does finally heal I have to be cut right back open to have a hernia fixed...FUN FUN FUN (do you sense the sarcasm??) Anyway, just wanted to get some feedback from some folks that had similar problems and how you dealt with them. Take Care All! Jimmy

I didnt have any complications but wondering about your hernia. I have some pain on the right side of my incision. When I cough or clear my throat it hurts. Does this sound like a hernia? My doc will freak!!! I am not telling them until my next visit or they may may me not go back to work. Kinda spooky... Nothing I can do about it now if it is. Do they do an untrasound to see? Going to bed. Will check in tomorrow. You going to game?

Sounds like it could be...mine is on the left side of my incision. You can't tell it when I am laying down but when i stand up it bulges out like a tennis ball and is VERY tight. Doesn't really hurt unless I walk alot or get into a coughing fit. Not really much you can do about it. The only way to fix a hernia is surgery...unfortunately. I am gonna do some research on laproscopic hernia repair and ask the doc about it when I go back on Dec 4th. They may do an ultrsound...he may just be able to feel it by pressing on it. If it's a bad hernia you won't have to do anything but look and see it bulging out...like mine Yup, I am going to the game...kinda bummed about missing the chat session tomorrow night but maybe i'll catch the next one. Holla atcha later! Jimmy

Poor Arlies. I have never heard of a C section taking so long. I bet that was extra miserable cause you were running after that baby.

Yeah Jimmy, I think I'm in the top Ten list for complications. (See Profile) Dec. 4th? I'm going in to "finish-up" On Dec. 6th. Even with the complications I'd still do it again. Best Wishes- Dx
