Hi!

Hello to everyone. I have been researching WLS for about the last 5 months and have also been doing the pre-surgery testing (fun, fun). Obesity Help has been such a God send and has answer so many of my questions. I have been reading all the posts from the Mississippi group (I live Madison) for so long I feel like I know you as well as my neighbors. Thank you for all the sharing you have done. It really helps all of us pre-ops who have sooo many questions. My surgeon is Dr. Kenneth Cleveland. I have completed all necessary tests, gotton insurance approval, and have my surgeon appointment scheduled for October 28, 2004. I think I was probably in the same information seminar with Donna back in July. Well, I just wanted to intoduce myself and say "hello." I look forward to chatting with you all soon.

Hi Gina, You have picked a great surgeon. He was also my surgeon. And he has great bed side manners. He treats each patient with concern and kindness and as a individual. Some Drs treat all patients like they are just another person that they are going to operate on. But, Dr Cleveland cares about your concerns. And is happy to answer any questions that you may have when you go in for your consulation. Also his office team is great and very supportive. God knows I don't know how they put up with me. I wish you well on your journey and I can say that I know that you will be pleased that you have choosen Dr Cleveland as your surgeon. ~JO~ P.S. Welcome Gina, this is the most wonderful resource we have. I have learned so many things, just listening. But, I have met a few of the wls family at the meeting at UMC. I just hope I am able to come next week. I have been working on test, but I have had a few readblocks. But, that is okay! My doctors are just being careful. I don't post too often because I was invaded by a virus and afew other creatures. I bought the Norton Anti-Virus 2005 and have cleaned house. But I still have some things to learn about my new browser, Netscape. Girl October 28 is just 5 more days! Yeah, let us hear. Again, welcome. Smiles, Jan
