When did you become morbidly obese?

I became morbidly obese about 4 years ago. When I became disabled and was house ridden for about 2 years. I gained 120 pounds in the 2 years. I was never the skinny girl, but when I became disabled it was like I could tell every day I had gained more weight. I fought it hard, but as you all know lost the battle very badly, But praise God for allowing man to have the intellect to invent this surgery!!!!

Morbidly, eh? Well since puberty I have been bigger...After the birth of my daughter (7) I gained and gained. It wasnt until about 3 years ago that I hit the MORBID point. Good question Donna...

March 22, 1957....weighed in at 9 lbs on the dot! BUT after Em was born almost 13 years ago, I really, really gained by leaps and bounds and it seemed there was nothing I could do about it. Smoochers, Arlies

My better question is When did you realize your where obese. haha I have always been in denial. Evne now I see a large person, I just can't believe that I'm obese. I guess we all go through this. But to get to your answer, about ?????????? YESTERDAY ?? HaHa You have a great day.... BARB

1990. What an awful year!!! I started gaining weight in the last part of 1987. Then it just grew and grew and grew and, well you get the point!!! Thats ok, I'm not going to be this way forever!!!!

Right after my second baby was born in 1993. I guess all the sittin' home playing mommy and not getting out do do any kind of exercising at all really did me in. Taking a car everywhere because you just can't lug two kids around walking, they complain after a mile or so, or you'd probably kill yourself with one on the hand and the other in a backpack.... you know what I mean Shortly dropped into "severly obese" for a few months in 2000 and went right back up to morbid after starting Depo Shots. Hopefully in a few more months now I'll be back to the severe cases Andrea

You are doing great and it will not be much longer for you until you are just plain obese and then......NORMAL Weight!!!!! Keep up the great work
