Hey Saturday Nite Chatters!! I really was planning on coming to chat this time. But.... we went to Mobile to look at a car for hubby and then went to the mall and didn't make it home till almost 10 pm. I hope you guys are ready for a RANTING.... it's off topic... but you may wanna read this anyways if you have kids and shop at KayBEE . Now, we've had some serious issues with KayBEE toystores the last few weeks. We had pre-ordered a Pokemon Game for my oldest, and no one told us at the time, that it had to be picked up within 2 days of it coming in, or they'd sell it. Hubby had paid for the preorder and then went out to sea for a month. Well, this was at the store at the Gautier, MS mall. I was highly upset when I found out that they had SOLD both the copies we had reserved ( remember..we PREordered, meaning we put a downpayment on this.. grrrrr ) When the guy on the register rang up the game that was on the shelf, he realized that they didnt HAVE any more games, and they should have never even had that box on the shelf to start with, so he handed us back our giftcards ( ten bucks a piece ) and said that the money's still on them. I wanted my money back since we wanted the GAME and they done sold the one we had reserved, and the store manager said, there is no refund on gift cards ( EVEN WITH A RECEIPT they refused) !! Now.. I'm pretty calm still, said ok, call me when u get more games and I will be in to get it. I even filled out one of them " call us" cards at the toystore. They said they'd get more copies in on Wednesday, so Hubby called them that evening and lo and behold , the lady answering the phone says to him " we just sold the last one".... hmm... wait.. why weren't we CALLED? They were supposed to call as soon as they come in!!!! Ok.. so we said the heck with it, we took the gift cards to KayBEE at the Mobile mall and got the little one some birthday presents. Gift card's a Gift Card. RIGHT? well... the cashier rang us up.. and ONE card still had 10.00 on it, the other did NOT. They refused to honor the fact that we had receipts of purchase , they did call their tech support and they even got the answer that we indeed never did purchase anything with the card that now had a zero balance. Then, to top it all off, when they cancelled out the current transaction, our second card went to zero as well. They said, call the number on the back and dispute the facts. I was irate by now but just walked off and was NEVER going to shop KayBEE again. About half way out of the mall, the original cashier that rang us up and KNEW that one card had ten dollars on it, said, why don't you come back and get at least one toy, the card that she had used WAS good and because of whatever error that was made, it was zeroed in the system but she'd vouch for the fact that the ten was there to begin with. I said ok, and the manager herself called tech support back. Now they actually believed us and they did give us the full 20.00 credit that should have been on those cards AND they gave us another 10.00 credit ( discretionary credit for our TOTAL INCONVENIENCE !! ). So guys.. Let me say this, even though the store in Gautier,MS totally messed up and will never get our business again, I will highly recommend the store at Colonial Mall (I think ?? it's on Airline Blvd) in Mobile AL for helping us and doing right by them. Ok.. enough ranting. y'all have a good day and enjoy shopping at the Malls this weekend.. all this rain, I can't even go walking , there's ONLY one place to get the walking done. THE MALL !! Ya knnow ..i embarassed myself..i looked and noticed that was yesterdays post i am on drugs remember I can not put yahoo on here,everytime i do my pc crashes My stuffins are doing good..i just told John,hey all that pain and pressure is gone..wow..i am in a little pain but NOTHING compared to what i was.. just wanted to check on you.
