Whoa...Hospital Bill!!

Like the title says, whoa! I got the hospital bill. It was $58,000 and change! I about fell over!! Luckily the insurance has paid its part ($21,000 +) and all I have to pay is $250. Plus the pre-op testing was over $2,000... And I haven't seen anything from my doctor yet but I think he charges either $2,000 or $3,000. Can you believe it?? Still in shock... Cheri

My Goodness What a Bill. But, its worth it. Every dime of it. I'm sure!!! Just be Thankful that you don't have to pay the WHOLE thing.

yeah.. they are pretty pricey I got my bill from the hospital, the total came to around 48 Grand. Thank goodness for Tricare Prime. My deductible was ZERO.They even paid for the psychology exam and the nutritionist. I am blessed. Without Uncle Sam, I know I could have never had this surgery. And thankful to hubby to putting his life on the line for my health Andrea

Sweetie, you are so right. Service people put their lives on the line for ALL of us. And for that I am very Thankful. I'm proud of my Rights and Freedom.

Whew!!! Did ya faint when ya saw it??? I, too, have Tricare, but not prime...DH is retired and we can never seem to get that $400+ together to move up to prime! But since I've only paid out $100 so far, I can't complain!! Smooch, Arlies
