hey Christine errr... have you tried any of the powders? I've seen those Adkins shakes and I am so very tempted to buy them, but arghhhhhhh.. I can NOT afford them on a daily basis. No way Jose' ! I love my Unjury. Vanilla Flavored, one canister lasts me a whole week, and I do two shakes a day, one scoop has 20g protein, mixed with 8 oz of fat free milk gives you about 30 grams protein total. Two of them will give you 60 grams, plus whatever you eat on the side.. chicken, eggs, cheese, etc. Those are my doctors orders. The more protein from food, the better, but with my job, I'm just usually grabbin' a shake and run in the morning and don't always get time for lunch. Unjury has no aftertaste. I like it frothy after using a handblender, I'm a sucker for that stuff. I think I could live off of it if I had to Also, the unjury is about 17 bucks a can, you can order up to six cans for the same five bucks for shipping, that's a pretty decent supply there. They also offer a plan where you have it sent automatically and they discount those as well. They sell samples < vanilla, chocolate, unflavored> , you may wanna give it a shot... if you dont like'em, tell me and I'll buy them from ya Andrea

I have not looked at them yet, but on the main board they say do NOT buy Atkins. They say it is too high in something, I think it was fat.

Atkins shakes are not on my shopping list for daily use, but they are still high in protein and I wasn't told that they are bad for us. Sure, low fat is preferrable over high-fat content, but since the RNY bypasses some intestine, we mal-absorb fats too, so a can of Atkins on the run is better than NO protein, definitely. It's the carbs we really should stay away from. Basically, there is no ONE right way to go, what one surgeon recommends, another discourages or is indifferent.

Hey Christine Catherines is beside ToyRUs in Hattiesburg. THat is where I have to shop for all my clothes. They may have a full dress you can use. Are you as big as a size 30?
