I just talked to her. She sounds fabulous and feels great. I dont know if I am supposed to say anything or if she wanted too but I just gotta say -"SHE LOST 14 POUNDS"---already. Isnt that awesome!!! She said she has eaten tomato soup (said it was goooood) and a tiny bite of oatmeal. All went well. She had her drain taken out yesterday and said all her wounds are healing well. All in all she seems to be doing amazingly well. Shes being spoiled by her mom right now and not quite ready to give that up. (I wouldnt either)... I cant wait to be on the losing side too!! Way to go Moo Moo girl!!!

That is so cool! I hope mine goes as well as hers has. You will get there too before you know it. Thanks for the update.

Mrs Arlies! You ought to be ashamed putting your paws on another woman's man! And I don't mean his wife...I mean me! LOL How did you sucker a hug out of him? I've never even got a hug, lol. He did hold my hand the other day when his nurse was taking my drain out and I about cut the circulation off in his hand, lol. I assume you saw him at the Support Group meeting. It figures he would come to the one support group meeting I don't attend, lol. He's the main reason I go....just to hope to get to see him,lol. J/K

Thank you all for the support. And thank you Christine for posting for me, since my mom lives in the dark ages and doesn't have a computer, lol. I came into town today just to get out of the house and I feel that much better!! I also have lost two more pounds making it 16 lbs in 10 days!! WOO HOO! I drove for the first time today and it felt so good and made me feel so independent! I came by to check on my kitties (Anna and Alex). I just knew they would cry and whine b/c they had missed me so much, but noooooo, they just looked at me like "what are you doing here?" lol For those of you who are pre-op....just remember...no matter what crosses your mind the day of or the day after surgery...THINGS GET SO MUCH BETTER DAY AFTER DAY!! With the exception of this little ole drain hole that still needs to heal, Im almost back to normal!! It is soooooooo worth it guys!!!! Thanks for all your support! Kristi a.k.a.
