Update on Hulene Gray....

Dear folks, I talked with Hulene Gray's dh this am. Mrs. Gray was on her way back down to x-ray. They are from Franklin county and Mrs. Gray is 61 years old. If you would like the room number and/or phone number, please email me and I will give it out to you. Mrs. Gray has had 5 operations so far, recieved 46 pints of blood and 4 units of plasma. She had her surgery and developed a stoma (folks, I am not medical so bear with me...), got that fixed, and she developed another, fixed and then another. At this point in time, she has 3 holes in her tummy and is bleeding internally. They are fixing to try a drug (which I understood to be experimental) which may be her only hope. Mr. Gray said she was facing her 6th surgery if this drug doesn't work, and he feels she will not survive another surgery. I asked Mr Gray's permission to post about Mrs. Gray and he said, "please, prayers and this new drug are the only thing that will help us now." PLEASE, PLEASE keep them in your prayers. I left him with my phone number, and told him to call if he needed anything, and us MS WLSers would do whatever we could to help out. For now, lots of prayer. Love, Arlies

Hey Ms. Arlies, Glad to hear the real update on this poor lady. I will continue to keep her and her family in my prayers. It was so nice of you to call her and speak with her husband. Let me know if you hear any other info from them. And if there is anything that I can do help out, let me know. When I go over there, I'll have to pop in and see them. That way, they will know that they are in fact being thought about, prayed for, and that they are cared for. Even by those who don't know them.
