All I can say is "Wow", Christine! On both your web page and your profile. I am embarrassed to admit that I have Empire Blue and I had absolutely no problems. My nurse called them first and they gave a conditional approval pending a psych eval - my psych eval was sheduled 2 days away - after that I was approved (it took about a week total). I haven't been on any medically supervised diets or anything. But I went through Dr. Ludwig in Biloxi (and I'm in Mendenhall) - I had read such great reviews about the program (formerly Dr. Rose). Anyway, I am so sorry you had to go through so much crap. I'm going to be posting my own page very soon, I'm just working on my "history" now. My boss has a parrot - a scarlet macaw named Maggie May - she's kind of a celebrity because she did a commercial for the Isle of Capri Tunica...she's a beautiful bird but I'm a cat lover ;) Good luck to you on your new journey. I'm 10 days post-op and trust me, it's worth it! I don't know how much actual weight I've lost yet - my check-up with my doc is the 21st (next week) but I can see results already Keep the faith!! Thank you and congrats to you! Let us know after you have your follow up how things are progressing. I work with other people here and in Jackson who have the same insurance as I and they had no problems either getting approved. Seems it was just me. Thanks for the message and keep us updated.
