I need help

Hi everyone I am new and need so much help. I live in the Hattiesburg area. I am bedridden and weight over 600 lbs. I have medicaid and am on SSI. Can someone tell me how to get help or who could help me. I keep getting nowhere. I have to do something because this is killing me. I heard Dr. Cleveland might take medicaid but his office was closed today when i found that out. Thanks for any help and support I can get. Its real bad time in my life right now. My hubby left couple weeks ago and i just can't seem to do anything right thanks Legina

Legina, This is a wonderful place to come for help. I also live in the Hattiesburg area. This board has really helped me with so much this past 18 months. There are some really great people here. Legina, My heart goes out to you. I don't really know much about the insurance deal but I do know that you have come to the right place for support. Legina: I don't know if Medicaid is taken by Dr. Cleveland. You can call Adam on Monday to find out. Then if they don't take Medicaid, I would call UMC for sure. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. We all know how it is here. You will find a lot of love and support here.

Regina, Have your doctor refer you to Dr. Salameh at University Hospital in Jackson. I know they take medicaid. The phone number is 601-815-1294. He is wonderful and very willing to help. I am so sorry for your misfortunes. You are doing the best thing in asking for help. Good luck. glenda and walter

I am so sorry to hear of all your troubles. I do know Dr Cleveland takes Medicare I used it to have my surgery done. Please keep us posted on your findings and anything we can do to help. Barry

UMC takes medicare and I think the group in Covington, LA does too. Covington would be able to get to you quicker, probably than UMC.
