My first crush was Nathan Rogers in Biloxi, Mississippi (first grade). We moved away and about five years later we went back to visit. I got permission to go to my former school that day and visit with old friends. The band class was in a room where some folks were on the platform performing and some folks were sitting on bleachers watching. Nathan was just looking out and smiling and flirting with me during the whole class period. After the bell rung he walked down and right over .... to the young lady who was sitting next to me the whole time!! {sigh} My daughter is in community theater and her first performance was in Bye-Bye Birdie.
